2. Data processed, purposes and lawfulness of the processing

a) General access data to the site

This site uses cookies to improve the User's global navigation. See below paragraph "Browsing data and Cookies."

The legal basis that legitimizes the use of cookies and the processing of such data are legitimate interest and the need to make the functions of the site usable following the user's access and for the provision of services to the user.

 

b) Personal data provided voluntarily

The personal data provided voluntarily using the site's booking engine or by sending an e-mail to our hotel, are processed exclusively for the provision of the services requested by you and the finalization of the reservation. For additional information on the data provided when using the booking engine, please read the "Booking Engine" section of this policy.

The legal basis that legitimizes the acquisition and processing of the requested data is the execution and finalization of the services requested by you and the execution of legal obligations related to hotel reservations (e.g. public security, administrative, fiscal, accounting, etc.) Art 6 paragraphs b, c, and f.

Refusal to provide the requested basic data will make it impossible for us to proceed with the provision of the requested services and to establish or continue contractual relationships.

 

3. Processing methods and data retention times

The data provided voluntarily are included in computer and paper databases, processed according to the application of the appropriate security measures for the protection and confidentiality of data, pursuant to the GDPR (EU) 2016/679. The acquisition and processing of personal data by Cador Hotel takes place using special data processing and storage software.

Such software is commonly used in the hotel industry for managing booking and all aspects related to hotel stays. Cador Hotel guarantees that all systems used have adequate security measures for data protection and confidentiality in accordance with GDPR (EU) 2016/679.

Cador Hotel collects only the personal data necessary for the provision of its services. These personal data are not subject to dissemination or profiling by Cador Hotel.

However, the data may be processed for statistical purposes for the internal and exclusive use of Cador Hotel.

Cador Hotel carries out direct marketing actions (newsletter) only with your explicit consent.

Your data is not disseminated or profiled for commercial purposes by Cador Hotel.

They may be analysed for statistical purposes for the exclusive use of Cador Hotel.

 

Data retention time

The data are stored for the time strictly necessary for the management and purpose for which they were collected and in compliance with current regulations and security obligations. In any case, for a period not exceeding 5 years.

 

4. Who processes your data

The personal data you have provided to us are processed by the following categories of persons according to the purposes indicated in point 2 and the methods listed in point 3:

• management of Cador Hotel as data controllers

• reception, administration, and accounting staff of Cador Hotel as persons in charge of processing

• management and persons in charge of the companies chosen by Cador Hotel to manage and optimize the provision of the services offered, as data processors.

5. Rights of access of the data subject

The owner of the data has the right at any time to obtain from Cador Hotel:

a) confirmation of the existence of your data in our databases

b) the origin of the data and the purposes of the processing

c) the indication of which data have been acquired and processed

d) an indication of the processing methods and the logic applied in the case of processing with the aid of electronic tools

e) the identification details of the data controller and of all the subjects (or categories of subjects) to whom the data may be communicated in their capacity as data processors or persons in charge of the processing

f) the right to know whether their data is transferred to a third country or to an international organisation

g) the updating, correction or integration of such personal data

h) the right to data portability (Art.20 C68)

i) the total deletion of one's data (right to be forgotten art. 17, C65, C66)

j) certification that the operations indicated in letters g) f) and i) k) requested have been carried out correctly

k) the right to object, at any time, to the processing of personal data for the purpose of sending advertising material, direct sales, carrying out market research or other forms of communication for commercial purposes.

BOOKING ENGINE e GUEST PORTAL

The booking engine used by our website and hotel is provided by a third party: Mews Systems B.V., a Dutch company, Wibautstraat 137D, Scalehub 2nd floor, 1097DN Amsterdam, the Netherlands, registered under the Dutch Trade Register number 66426995

If you use the booking engine of Cador Hotel, you give your consent to the processing of data for the purposes of providing the service.

Your email address may be stored on the servers of Mews Systems B.V. and processed in accordance with the appropriate security measures for data protection and confidentiality in accordance with the GDPR (EU) 2016/679.

Cador Hotel is the sole data controller of the data that you have freely provided to us through the booking engine and does not transfer your email address and data to anyone else, as specified in this policy in point 3.

Mews is the data processor when Cador Hotel collects data in the property management system.

Mews processes personal data on behalf of an accommodation provider (such indicatively as booking.com or Expedia Goup) acting as the data controller. The privacy policy of the accommodation provider governs the processing of this personal data. 

Mews is the data controller when it comes to the collection of voluntary personal data necessary for Mews to provide a guest access to the Mews Guest Portal. The Mews privacy policy governs the collection and processing of this data.

NEWSLETTER

If you subscribe to the Cador Hotel newsletter, you give your consent to receive communications and offers from Cador Hotel by email.

For these purposes, your data is managed by Cador Hotel through a platform for sending newsletters: TBA.

Your email address is stored on TBA's servers and processed according to the appropriate security measures for the protection and confidentiality of data pursuant to GDPR (EU) 2016/679.

MailUp, like any newsletter management platform, provides information on who opens the newsletters and clicks on the links; We use this information for statistical purposes and to understand the effectiveness of our communications.

Cador Hotel is the sole data controller of the data that you have freely provided to us and does not transfer your email address and data to anyone else, as specified in this policy in point 3.

You can stop receiving the newsletter at any time, through the appropriate link at the bottom of each message.

Browsing data and cookies

The processing of personal data of users who visit the Site is limited to browsing data, i.e. those for which transmission to the Site is necessary for the operation of the computer systems responsible for managing the Site and Internet communication protocols. This category includes, for example, the IP addresses or domain of the computer used to visit the Site and other parameters relating to the operating system used by the user to connect to the Site. The Company collects this and other data (such as, for example, the number of visits and the time spent on the Site) only for statistical purposes and in anonymous form in order to control the operation of the Site and improve its functionality. This is information that is not collected to be associated with other information about users and to identify them; however, by its very nature, this information may allow the identification of users through processing and association with data held by third parties. Browsing data are immediately deleted after processing in anonymous form but may be used by the Company to ascertain and identify the perpetrators of any computer crimes committed against the Site or through the Site. Except for this eventuality, the browsing data described above are stored only temporarily in compliance with the applicable legislation.
